Check out these super cute turquoise/green bracelets accented with purple, orange and pink flowers traced in gold. I can't think of a better way to add a splash of color to my wardrobe... Simple design, maximum fun!
Constructed in the 1920’s, this distinctive piece of architectural history is a flashback to dramatic times long forgotten. Before the bridge was constructed many died trying to cross the rigorous terrain of the Arroyo Seco. Restored in 1993 the Colorado Street Bridge was part of the famed Route 66 until 1940. Complete with Neo Classical arches, multi globed lamps, and old world charm the bridge still hangs on to its melancholic past. Yet it’s hard not to fall in love with the over 1400 feet of masculine concrete known as the Colorado Street Bridge.
And the winner is..... Marea! Thanks to all of you who participated. Look out for more contest in the future...

I love the idea of having elements of nature in the home and wood flooring is a simple way to achieve this. ...So what to do when my Eco conscious mind says “No” and my design loving heart screams “Yes!”... Recycled or reclaimed wood flooring could be the solution to this emotional tug of war and the options are good and plenty. There is antique wood from vintage structures pre-dating the 1930’s, like pine, elm, and oak. And for the wine lover in me there are more exotic options such as penny cork and oak wine barrels (she salivates). Recycled wood flooring adds a unique accent to any home.
