Oh My!
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of eating gluten free you know that when it comes to sweets, it’s either hit or miss (mostly miss). The dry, crumbly, cardboard textures are nothing like the moist, spongy consistency of the real stuff, especially when it comes to baked goods. There are few people who understand the complexity and need for tasty GF pastries, and one of those people is Siobhan Tolochko owner/designer of Oh My Bakery.
Siobhan is a designer of the sweet tooth and she has a rare gift for making blah into wow! Her specialty is actually vegan but trust me she knows her gluten free. On Valentine’s Day I was surprised with a dozen gluten free cupcakes created by Oh My Bakery (thank you RJSP) and they were moist and spongy just like the real thing… six decadent chocolate, six luscious vanilla...indulgent, delicious cakes with a rich raspberry filling… I ate them all with non to share! The bakery was created in 2008 and Soibhan’s culinary skills allow her to work with most dietary restrictions and allergies. She has created delicious, cakes and pies out of her own need to live a vegan lifestyle. The decor of her cakes are intricate, lovable, and whimsical (check out the cork!). Siobhan also shares the much needed value of caring for the environment by using natural, organic ingredients and using eco friendly packaging.
So if you want to indulge in one of Siobhan’s exceptional treats give her a call. Just remember to allow at least 48 hours notice. Oh yah and if you live in Burbank, Glendale, or Pasadena she’ll deliver for free!... Wow! I sincerely hope that for your next special event you give Oh My Bakery a ring because they are Oh My Good!
